What is a ‘Monitor’?

When using the Ok Alone lone worker solution you will see the word ‘Monitor’ throughout the website, but what does that actually mean?

A monitor is the person who is contacted if a worker doesn’t check in on time or sends a help request. Each worker is assigned one or more monitors and those monitors are steps within that workers escalation procedure. If ‘Todd’ misses his check in then his monitor ‘Sarah’ is contacted to let her know. She will then initiate the next steps to making sure Todd is all right.

Monitors also have access to the Ok Alone dashboard and can input workers information. They can change shift times, change check in frequency, update personal information, keep track of workers locations and create escalation procedures.
